Welcome to Nyørk

You are welcome to stay in our old farmhouse from 1878.

The house was renovated in 2004/2005.
The kitchen and bathroom are now new.

Nyørk is in Krundalen, a side valley to Jostedalen. Krundalen offers beautiful scenery with forests, farmland, cultivated pasture and the glacier.here is a fantastic view to the glacier from Nyørk. The house is located 1,5 kilometres from Jostedalsbreen National Park, 30 minutes by car from Gaupne and the Sognefjord, and one hour by car from Jotunheimen National Park.

Nyørk is a perfect point of departure if you want to go hiking in the mountains of Jostedalen or Luster. Jostedalen offers a lot of other activities, but of course it’s also possible just to enjoy the peacefulness in the marvellous scenery. Our guests are welcome to visit our dairy farm with traditional Norwegian cow breeds.

Ground floor: Hallway, bathroom, kitchen, one big living room, one smaller living room with bed sofa.
First floor: One big bedroom with 3 double beds, one smaller bedroom with 2 single beds.

House rules

Smoking inside is not permitted.
Please leave the house clean and tidy. All floors should be cleaned.
You can pay the house owner to clean if you choose not to.
You will be charged if furniture or items are destroyed.
If you need more wood, you can buy this from the house owner. The cost is NOK 50 each bag.
